MRS. ELIZABETH ANN
MRS. ELIZABETH ANN IS a Christian mother of three children whom she has homeschooled from kindergarten up, two of which are now graduated. She is involved with much of the church work including web work and helping other congregations internationally and sending them books, cd’s and other literature. In the Bible Story Time efforts, she leads the singing for the children from ages 2 to 7 years and has been doing so for several years. Her personal interests and hobbies include serving God, blogging, writing, cooking and singing. Her hopes are to help children in a greater way and she would love to be able to work with them in another country, especially Africa. Her sole love in life is serving God in any way that she can. She is excited to be able to write for this blog and hopes to be of encouragment to girls and young women in her efforts! MRS. MRS. ELIZABETH ANN’S TESTIMONY:
“As far back as I can remember into my childhood, gross sin had stained and darkened everything that could have otherwise been good. I left my parents’ home just prior to turning 17, lost and without hope in the world. Life became darker and more despairing with each new day. I knew that God and His truth were somewhere to be found. I obtained a Bible and thought to begin searching the word of God, for the measure of faith I did have caused me to trust this precious book as the source of all truth.
One day I had opportunity to ask a couple who professed Christianity about their faith and I was told at that time that the Lord Jesus Christ was with me and loved me and wanted to
come and live in my heart. My lonely, aching, lost soul was deeply touched by this beautiful message of love and I cried through the whole night, begging Jesus to come live in my heart. I never saw that couple again, but their timely words set my feet on a path after the One whose love had taken hold of my life and begun to turn it completely around. Around the age of 26, after seeking God with everything in me to please show me where He would have me go to church, God led me to the Church of God in Carmichael and there I heard the message of complete deliverance from all sin through sanctification. God filled my life and heart in a whole new experience and I have lived the past 15 years serving him and living for him. The Lord Jesus Christ grows dearer to my heart everyday!
Having not had the opportunity to be raised with the truth and having had to experience sin that will forever haunt my past, I have a burden for young women, to bear to them the precious message of what a beautiful, fulfilling life they can have in serving Christ and keeping themselves unspotted by the world. It’s my hearts desire to somehow convey to them, that in God’s eyes, they are special, beloved and beautiful!”
