MISS FELECIA V IS a home-school graduate who is looking to God for the next step in her life. She is looking into becoming a Christian doula and perhaps later going on to midwifery. She is currently a volunteer at a local hospital in day surgery. She is active in the church’s youth services, regularly sings in groups for service specials and is a part of the church choir. She also helps with the church visitation efforts. On the web, she  has assisted as the church helps other congregations internationally set up websites by designing graphics, posting articles and doing whatever odd jobs they need help with. On a more personal level, her interests include photography, homemaking, scrapbooking, reading, writing, midwifery and more. She just wants to be what God wants her to and hopes to be able to reach some  souls with God’s love on this blog!

MISS FELECIA’S TESTIMONY:

“I HAVE WANTED to serve God from a small child. Just under the age of five years, I gave my heart to God and have done my best to serve Him since then. As I have grown, I definitely have made mistakes and had struggles as every Christian does, but by His grace He keeps me every day and has helped me. As I’ve become older and had more understanding, it has been my desire to always serve God.

ONE OF THE MOST difficult trials of my life so far, has been the passing of my dear friend Alesya. I didn’t really know her (only had met her and knew who she was) before she got sick. However, throughout the last 7-8 months of her life, I went and visited her almost every week. I fasted and prayed for her healing. I watched as she grew weaker and weaker. I watched as she laid there week after week half paralyzed, but still smiling. I watched as little by little what ability she had to talk (she talked like a stroke patient) slipped away and communication of any sort became extremely difficult for her. I watched as her outer life slipped away, but was blessed as her inner life grew and shined brighter and brighter.

WHEN SHE WAS taken from us in April of 2008, I think I was mostly in shock. I gave up any reservation about people seeing me cry in public for the first time in my life at her funeral. As the months passed and the shock started wearing away, the grief started kicking in. Many nights I lay in bed, sobbing as I thought of her and missed her. Several times I’ve dreamed of her. But, in all of this, GOD WAS WITH ME! And He still is, for the death of someone so special breaks your heart and it often takes a long time to heal. Yet though I can’t change it, I know GOD has a plan and always has! I have done my best to commit it to Him and though I don’t understand it, I want to trust Him! He is SO worthy! He is SO awesome! And now Alesya is with HIM! Amazing!!! There is so much to learn through it all! (Read Alesya’s full story HERE.)

RIGHT NOW, I am just doing my best to serve God and seek out the paths in life that God has set for me. As mentioned above, I have helped and still participate in many of the church’s outreaches. I am continuing to seek God’s direction in the way of a “career”. I hope to be a wife and mother someday by God’s blessing. My main goal is to make Heaven my home and take as many people with me as I can! I want my life to portray even just a small portion of Christ’s love to those around me!

I LIKE TO help people.  I hate discord, strife,  seeing people hurting and prejudice.  I love Christ, my salvation, the Bible, my sweet family and my great friends. Jesus is my role model and the Bible is road map.

SO THIS IS my testimony. God has blessed my life. He has given me an awesome family and awesome friends! I love Christ Jesus and what He has done for me! I am thankful and blessed to be able to say that He has brought me through; He is bringing me through and by His grace, will continue to keep me and bring me through! He has blessed me and I don’t want to know what my life would be like without Him! I am privileged to be a Daughter of the King!”
