DAUGHTERS OF LIGHT is an online blog that has been encouraging and challenging young women to seek a deeper walk with God. Our purpose is to point lost souls down the path to holiness by letting Christ shine in our own lives.

ALTHOUGH Daughters of Light has been online since 2006, the idea of reaching out to girls on the internet started long before then. What began as a simple “Girl’s Club” to rival the “Boy’s Club” as young children grew into something greater and deeper as we entered our teens. Being in contact with several young women that were struggling to do right and serve God in a very evil environment led to our great desire to offer support and encouragement to other discouraged souls. So our efforts have prospered and grown from the elementary “Girl’s Club” to our first appearance online as “The Cozy Corner Club” and finally to the present DAUGHTERS OF LIGHT.

THE DAUGHTERS OF LIGHT blog is currently run by three primary editors – Miss Felecia V, Nastya Andreyovna, and Mrs. Elizabeth Ann. These posts will appear regularly in the following categories -

• SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK- contains a new scripture each week to encourage, to challenge, and to inspire; featured every Sunday
• THE CHRISTIAN GIRL UNVEILED – the essence of what it means to be a true Christian for a girl of today; featured every other Monday
• THE CONSECRATED LIFE – thoughts on seeking a deeper, personal relationship with God and consecrating ourselves to His service; featured every other Monday
• ARTS OF HOMEMAKING - recipes, crafts, and other tips on housewifely arts; featured every other Wednesday
• THE KING’S DAUGHTER – tips on healthy bodies, minds and attitudes as well as striving for true beauty, modesty and femininity in today’s society; featured every other Wednesday
• INFLUENCE – articles on girls’ influence in society today and ways that we ourselves are impacting the world for Christ; featured every other Friday
• INSIGHT – articles featuring a Christian’s perspective on all things pertaining to our world today and in the past; featured every other Friday
• RELATIONSHIPS – thoughts on a girls behavior in relationships with parents, siblings, friends, the opposite sex, and people in general
• BEHIND THE SCENES – updates on the daily events and goings-on in the lives of the editors; featured the second Saturday of every month
• A MOTHER’S PERSPECTIVE – our monthly edition brought to us by a Christian mother seeking to advise and encourage younger women; featured the last Saturday of every month

WE HOPE THAT you find our articles helpful and inspirational, as that is our sole purpose for writing them. If, after visiting our site, you feel challenged to seek a deeper relationship with Christ and stand against the teenage stereotypes and conditioning of the world, then we feel that our goal has been reached.
