2009 PROGRESS REPORT
GOD HAS BLESSED us richly in this past year. Our hits nearly doubled and we’ve grown in authors, pages, posts, and many other ways. We give Him all the glory for His goodness towards us and our efforts to honor Him!
WE’VE INCLUDED below 1) an overview of our progress in the year 2009, and 2) a list of our goals for 2010 and for the month of January specifically (in case any of you would like to see what we have up and coming:-). Keep us in your prayers as we put our efforts together to reach more girls with the gospel of Christ in our community and abroad!

IN 2009 WE REACHED:
- 57 posts with 98 comments
- 6858 blog hits total
- 151 on busiest day
- 6 pages -
- Our top post was THE ORIGIN OF ST. PATRICK’S DAY at 1,344 hits.
- A new author, MRS. LIZ ANN, joined our ranks.
- We created a TWITTER ACCOUNT.
- We created a FACEBOOK FAN PAGE.
- We created a PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNT.

BY THE END OF 2010 WE HOPE TO HAVE ACCOMPLISHED -
- 21,000 hits total at an average of
-100 hits a day
- 2 comments to every post
- designing and creating our own new, custom template
- buying the domain of www.daughtersoflight.com
- reaching 400 fans on FACEBOOK
-reaching 100 SUBSCRIBERS to our blog
- creating videos to put on youtube
- producing a “Daughters of Light” vocal CD and writing our own theme song based on our mission and our theme scripture – Isaiah 60:1
- each author being able to work individually with at least one person in need of a Saviour
OUR ARTICLE POSTING STRATEGY has changed somewhat for this coming year. Instead of doing posts to scheduled categories 4/5 times a week, we’ve decided to post only 3, and post on whatever subject we feel led to. We will keep the SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK on Sundays and continue the monthly interviews and monthly write-ins from our author MRS. LIZ ANN.
IN JANUARY WE HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH -
- creating a page for a new author that will be joining us…be on the lookout!
- 1167 hits total
- a new interview that will be coming out the 2nd weekend of January
- putting up a new page declaring our mission statement
- updating each of the editor’s pages
- creating a youtube video called INTRODUCTION TO DAUGHTERS OF LIGHT
- creating a CONTACT US page

ohh I’m so excited! I’ll have to show u 2 how easy it is to work with my web provider!!! I have wordpress built in and I can upload my own custom made templates!!! you guys will have to come over and we can all work on the new template on my computer!
